Available Positions:
- Assistant teacher: full time toddler classroom- 9:00am-6:00pm
- After school teachers: Part time positions mainly from 3-6pm daily. 12-6pm shift may be available. After school classrooms ages range from 4-12 years old separated by age group
General Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children
- Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Support children in their emotional, social, and physical development
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding child progress
- Monitor and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide high-quality care
- Help with classroom organization and cleanliness
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or other relevant certifications (preferred)
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth
