Carsan Electric is hiring an experienced Electrical Superintendent to run day-to-day field operations for Lyra, a commercial project starting soon in Miami. You will be the company’s leader on site — full-time in the field, in charge of the operation from mobilization to closeout.
What You’ll Do
- Run daily field operations: direct foremen and crews, assign work, and keep production on schedule
- Own the project schedule at field level and coordinate manpower needs with the office
- Coordinate daily with the GC’s superintendent, other trades, and inspectors (rough, trim, final)
- Enforce safety on site: toolbox talks, OSHA compliance, documentation of incidents
- Track daily progress and report to ownership: production, manpower, deliveries, issues
- Review drawings and coordinate field changes, RFIs, and as-builts with the office
- Manage material deliveries, storage, and jobsite logistics
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in commercial electrical construction, with at least 2 years leading crews as foreman or superintendent
- Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- OSHA 30 certification (or willing to obtain before start)
- Experience dealing directly with GCs and city/county inspectors in South Florida
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred (crews and GC coordination)
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus, not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
