Local Polyethylene Foam Manufacture seeks a Production/Floor Manager for our Marlboro, NJ location. Plastics manufacturing and extrusion expertise is required. Experience working with PE foam products, perforators, and other support equipment is a plus. Mechanical ability required. In this role you will be responsible for all extrusion operations. As a Production Manager you are accountable for the output, quality, cost, and safety performance of the manufacturing production area. You will manage production supervisors and hourly workforce teams, own production schedules, and departmental budgets, and oversee shipping as the primary operational leader for the production of the plant.
Must have experience managing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with 25+ employees. Quality training with ISO/Six Sigma training preferred. Familiarity with Lean practices, experience with safety, environmental regulations, and employee training required. You will lead and monitor the production of multiple departments at the facility while working to improve existing procedures and practices.
Compensation - $20 to $25 depending on experience with a lot of room for growth.
Bonuses annually based on performance
Weekly hours from 40 to 50 hours depending on projects , with some on call.

- Valid drivers license with a reliable form of transportation
- Significant experience working directly on the production floor
