We are in search of a FULL-TIME Activities Director responsible for developing and implementing quality social, recreation and community programs in compliance with requirements to meet residents’ needs.
Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Interview & assess each resident’s activities needs, interests and functioning level.
- Design & modify recreation therapy treatment plans, goals, objectives, progress notes & interventions.
- Identify resources, activities, outings & people necessary to perform various activities through the day.
- Asses and complete the sections of the Minimum Data Set assigned accurately & in a timely manner.
- Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team and attend resident care conferences.
- Provide Leadership to the Activities Department and volunteers.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Current Activities Professional Certification OR
- a degree in Recreational therapy OR
- an Occupational Therapy Assistant certificate or degree.
Salary:
- $22.85/hour - $25.85/hour (based on experience & licensure)
- **Including$0.85/hour employer paid supplemental pay through until 09.30.26
