Title: Medical Assistant (Russian or Spanish)
Location: Brooklyn, NY, 11215
Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Includes 30-Minute Unpaid Lunch Break)
Pay: $25-$28/Hourly
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clinical assistance while delivering excellent patient service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support daily front and back-office operations
- Greet and assist patients during visits
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Obtain and document patient information and vital signs
- Assist providers with patient care activities
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate appointments and patient scheduling
- Answer patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Support clinical and administrative staff as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Russian/English or Spanish/English required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS Certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- One or more years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Experience in Cardiology, Primary Care, or Family Medicine preferred
