Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on-site at our Endoscopy center in Carson City, Monday-Friday. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments before endoscopic procedures
- Administer medications, including IV insertion and acute pain management
- Assist with endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, identifying any complications or adverse reactions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Provide patient education on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient care using gGastro EMR.
Experience:
- Current and unencumbered RN license valid in the state of Nevada.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Proficient in IV insertion and infusion. Experience with conscious sedation preferred.
- Experience in the ER or critical care setting preferred.
- Current BLS required.
- ACLS required - must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
