Vakkar Salon is looking for a licensed stylist who wants to grow inside a refined, team-focused salon environment.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is professional, polished, kind, and ready to learn every part of what makes a high-end salon successful. We are looking for a stylist who wants to elevate themselves — not only technically, but in client care, communication, presentation, service standards, and salon culture.

We are looking for someone with a calm, polished, professional presence. Personality is important, but our salon environment is refined and client-focused. The right person understands how to be warm, personable, and engaging without needing to be the center of attention.
This position is designed as a growth role. You will be learning and supporting every aspect of the salon, including:
Client care and communication
Salon flow and team support
Shampooing and assisting stylists
Front desk and POS systems
Booking and client experience standards
Product knowledge
Salon environment and daily upkeep
Shared cutting and coloring methods
Consultation, timing, finishing, and service consistency
There is a base hourly wage to support the onboarding and learning process while you acclimate to our salon, our systems, and our team. This transition may take 3 to 6 months, depending on experience, readiness, and growth.
During this time, you will be expected to contribute to the full salon environment while learning how we operate. That includes helping with clients, supporting stylists, maintaining the salon, learning our products, understanding our systems, and becoming part of the daily rhythm of the team.
This is a good fit for someone who wants to be part of something long-term. Someone who is willing to learn, work hard, listen, take direction, and grow into a stronger stylist inside a professional salon culture.
