We’re looking for an HR Business Partner who thrives at the intersection of people, performance, and business results. About the Role
As an HR Business Partner, you’ll partner directly with business leaders to build strong, effective teams and solve real workplace challenges. You’ll serve as a trusted HR resource—guiding leaders through performance management and employee relations matters, conducting workplace investigations, helping resolve conflict, and using workforce insights to inform better decisions.
This role calls for someone who can balance empathy with accountability, confidently navigate sensitive situations, and build trusted relationships across the organization.

What You’ll Do
Drive Performance & Develop Leaders
- Review key performance indicators and partner with leaders to ensure performance improvement plans are delivered effectively and consistently.
- Support the annual performance review process and provide guidance on off-cycle performance and KPI-related needs.
- Coach team members on conducting effective performance reviews and delivering clear, motivating performance messages.
- Partner cross-functionally on complex situations involving performance, KPIs, and behavioral concerns.
Employee Relations & Complex Issues
- Resolve escalated employee relations matters, including complaints, grievances, and workplace conflicts.
- Conduct thorough, fair, and confidential investigations into employee complaints and allegations.
- Provide thoughtful guidance and recommendations on sensitive and complex employee matters.
- Partner with cross-functional teams as needed on legal matters related to employee relations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
Resolve Conflict & Strengthen Teams
- Facilitate mediation and conflict resolution between team members and between employees and management.
- Recommend practical strategies that improve communication and effectively resolve workplace disputes.
- Document outcomes and follow up to support lasting resolution.
- Help leaders navigate staffing initiatives, coaching opportunities, and team development needs.
Turn People Data Into Action
- Participate in utilization and staffing discussions and provide HR recommendations.
- Identify themes and trends related to staffing needs, turnover, and employee feedback.
- Use data and business insights to recommend strategies that address areas of concern.
- Help leaders communicate effectively through organizational and workforce changes.
- Support additional HR initiatives and organizational priorities as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of human resources experience.
- 3+ years of experience handling sensitive and complex employee matters.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong experience leading projects and collaborating across HR functions and departments.
- The judgment and discretion to navigate confidential, high-impact employee situations.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and the ability to build credibility with leaders and team members at all levels.
What Sets You Apart
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
- A track record of coaching leaders through challenging performance and employee relations situations.
- Strong investigative, mediation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Comfort using workforce data and employee feedback to identify trends and recommend action.
- The ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced, growing organization.
