Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to ensure accurate patient records.
- Provide individual counseling sessions incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, treatment planning protocols, and HIPAA regulations to promote client progress.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver therapy sessions, ensuring seamless patient care across in-person and virtual settings.
- Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health challenges or co-occurring disorders.
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), including progress notes, treatment updates, and medical records while adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, medical terminology interpretation, social work referrals to optimize client outcomes.
Skills
- Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling.
- Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluation processes, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and clinical documentation standards.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults
- Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms, HIPAA compliance requirements, medical terminology, EMR/EHR systems, and clinical research methodologies.
- Ability to conduct intake assessments effectively while demonstrating cultural competence in diverse populations; experience with special education or co-occurring disorders is a plus.
- Excellent client communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to support clients through trauma recovery.
This role is fully remote, must be fully liscencsed in Oklahoma and will see Oklahoma.residents.
Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour
