Job Overview
The Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting GST America’s overall business operations and administrative functions, with a primary focus on:
- Parts Management
- SCM Coordination
- HR Support
- Finance Coordination
- General Administration
This role reports directly to the CEO and works closely with Directors, General Managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment, organizational communication, execution follow-up, and overall business efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess strong operational management capability, hands-on execution skills, excellent communication ability, and the professionalism required to support both day-to-day business operations and executive-level coordination in a fast-paced semiconductor service environment.
Responsibilities
Business Operations & Administrative Management
- Oversee and support day-to-day business operations and administrative functions
- Manage and coordinate Parts and SCM-related operations with hands-on involvement
- Support operational efficiency, organizational alignment, and workflow coordination
- Provide supervision and backup support for HR, Finance, and General Administration functions when necessary
- Support process improvement and operational standardization initiatives
CEO Coordination & Execution Support
- Work closely with the CEO to organize and coordinate operational priorities and action items
- Translate executive direction into clear operational follow-up and execution tracking
- Support organizational communication and cross-functional coordination
- Prepare operational updates, executive summaries, and reports for headquarters
- Support company-wide execution management and accountability follow-up
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate communication and operational follow-through across departments including:
- Service
- Sales
- HR
- Finance
- SCM
- General Administration
- Maintain effective collaboration with existing Directors, GMs, and operational teams
- Support alignment between departments and headquarters requirements
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare high-quality Korean reports, presentations, and executive summaries for headquarters
- Improve reporting quality, documentation standards, and communication processes
- Organize operational issues into structured action plans and reporting materials
Team Support & Organizational Communication
- Support employees in understanding operational priorities and business expectations
- Help improve internal communication, reporting discipline, and execution quality
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and positive working relationships across teams
External & Headquarters Communication
- Communicate effectively with Korean headquarters regarding operational matters and reporting
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and external business partners as needed
- Support bilingual business communication in Korean and English
Preferred Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience
- 5-7+ years of experience in business operations, administration, operations coordination, or related functions
- Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, technical service, or Korean corporate environments preferred
- Experience working in fast-paced operational environments
- Experience supporting executive leadership and cross-functional coordination preferred
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong operational management and organizational coordination skills
- Hands-on capability in Parts management and SCM coordination
- Excellent Korean report-writing and documentation ability
- Strong execution, follow-up, and multitasking capability
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively with Directors, GMs, and cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/business systems
- Bilingual Korean/English required
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
