Healthcare Coding and Consulting Services (HCCS) is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Inpatient Facility Coder with extensive Level I Trauma and DRG Validation experience to join our growing team. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity for a coding professional who thrives in a Trauma Level I hospital environment and is looking for long-term career stability with a family-owned company.

Position Requirements:
- Current AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required; CCS certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Inpatient Facility coding experience in a Level I Trauma hospital setting.
- Extensive Level I Trauma coding experience required.
- Strong DRG Validation experience, including identifying documentation and coding opportunities that impact MS-DRG assignment and reimbursement.
- Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRGs, and Official Coding Guidelines.
- Experience coding highly complex inpatient cases, including trauma, critical care, surgical, and medically complex encounters.
- Strong understanding of Medicare inpatient reimbursement methodologies and DRG assignment.
- Proven ability to maintain high coding accuracy while meeting productivity expectations.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and documentation review skills.
- Must reside in the United States.
