Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate and monitor CNC machines, ensuring precision in machining processes.
- Utilize logic controllers to manage machine functions effectively.
- Fabricate components using various tools, including lathes and calipers.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to maintain product specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products, utilizing basic math skills for measurements.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC operations and programming is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery.
- Experience with machining processes and tools such as lathes and calipers is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.
- Previous experience working with logic controllers is a plus.
