Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders swiftly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service.
- Assist servers with guest needs, including refilling beverages and addressing inquiries to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Support food handling procedures in accordance with food safety regulations to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and floors as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and updates.
- Assist in setting up banquet or special event spaces, ensuring all food service equipment is prepared and functional.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key.
- Familiarity with food handling, serving, bussing, and basic food preparation enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Prior banquet or hotel service experience can be advantageous for managing larger events or groups.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential for delivering exceptional guest services.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations helps maintain high standards of hygiene and efficiency.
