Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures across all areas, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, carpet cleaning, and polishing to maintain flooring in excellent condition.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively while practicing manual handling techniques to prevent injury.
- Maintain organized supplies and equipment inventory; ensure proper use and storage of janitorial tools.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist with outdoor work when required, including patio or garden area cleaning and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals used in residential environments.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks promptly without sacrificing quality.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks comfortably.
- Previous experience in housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus.
