DuPage Machine Products, a west suburban manufacturer of precision machined components, has an excellent opportunity for a self-starter in our maintenance department. Strong industrial electronic background required (277/480), as well as CNC control aptitude and familiarity (Fanuc and Siemens). A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor degree in a Science/Engineering field Preferred
· At least 3 years of PLC, Machine Service experience
· Understanding of industry standards towards safety and Lockout Tag out
· Able to troubleshoot and diagnose Electrical and Mechanical Problems
· Ability to work well with others
· Ability to work with computers to access PLC systems and Ladder Diagrams
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Diagnose Electrical Issues
· Diagnose Mechanical Issues
· Perform Routine preventative maintenance tasks
· Work with suppliers and outside technicians to help diagnose issues.
· Work in a safe manner and lock out machinery when necessary.
· Communicate openly with staff to minimize downtime for uneasy repairs.
· Be able to train and describe issues to new employees in the workplace.
· Maintain all necessary manufacturing equipment according to OEM Specifications
Current hours are ten (10) hours per day, Monday through Friday, with Saturday AM, as required.
