What You’ll Do
As our Master Electrician, you will oversee and perform electrical work connected to our waterproofing, crawl space, structural repair, and basement-finishing projects. You will help ensure every installation meets applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and our commitment to exceptional workmanship.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing and overseeing residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades
- Installing dedicated circuits, outlets, lighting, switches, and related electrical components
- Supporting the electrical requirements of sump pumps, dehumidifiers, drainage systems, and basement-finishing projects
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and developing safe, practical solutions
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and code compliance
- Reading and interpreting electrical plans, diagrams, and project specifications
- Coordinating permits and inspections with the appropriate local authorities
- Working closely with production leaders, installers, project managers, and homeowners
- Explaining electrical recommendations to customers in clear, homeowner-friendly language
- Maintaining accurate documentation of completed work
- Following all company, OSHA, and electrical safety requirements
- Training and guiding team members on electrical safety and best practices when needed
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a skilled professional who takes ownership of their work, communicates effectively, and understands that technical expertise must be matched by excellent customer service.
Qualifications include:
- Valid Master Electrician license or equivalent qualifications required within the jurisdictions we serve
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and current electrical codes
- Experience securing permits and coordinating inspections
- Ability to diagnose problems and make sound decisions in the field
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and workmanship
- Ability to communicate technical information in a way homeowners can easily understand
- Dependable, organized, and capable of working independently
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Basement finishing or home-improvement experience is a plus
