One Sixty Fundraising are looking for outgoing, confident and passionate activists to join our sociable, high energy fundraising team in NYC - get paid to fight for animal rights!
Hours: Monday to Friday 10am-6pm
Pay: $20/hr-$24/hr (base pay) plus uncapped bonuses
This is a full time ongoing position. Please note we are not offering summer positions.
One Sixty International work with incredible non-profits such as The Nature Conservancy, Children International, Save the Children and the ASPCA to generate vital funds so they can keep doing the amazing work that they do!
We're looking for energetic, confident communicators who aren't afraid to strike up a conversation to represent the ASPCA - an incredible animal welfare non-profit who are committed to preventing cruelty to animals! From rescuing animals from abuse to passing humane laws, the ASPCA are a voice for animals - and you in turn can be a voice for them!
The Position: You will work with your team on different busy streets in the city where you will engage in incredible conversations with members of the public, inspiring them to become a supporter of the ASPCA through an ongoing donation. Each and every conversation you have will have an impact!
No experience required! Full, paid training will be provided. Instead we're looking for:

People with experience in the following sectors/positions are especially suited to fundraising: performing arts/theatre, canvassing, sales, customer service, retail, bar work, serving and hospitality. It's also a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates looking for an entry-level non-profit position to kick start their career!

- Base pay of $20/hr (with scope to increase to $24/hr) plus uncapped bonuses, paid weekly

Requirements:
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 10am-6pm
- Available to work full time for a minimum of 3 months
- Must be aged 18 years or over
- Happy to work outside!
- Must be willing to travel to various locations in NYC and canvass outdoors and/or at large events.
- Some experience or interest in social justice, activism, poverty alleviation, humanitarian causes, the environment, charitable causes, and/or non profit organizations.
