Job Overview
As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, and water heaters. You’ll work directly in the field, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, correctly, and to a high standard.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems (furnaces, A/C units, water heaters, etc.)
- Install new HVAC systems and components in residential and light commercial settings
- Determine job scope, materials needed, and estimated time for completion
- Communicate clearly with customers and office staff regarding job status and findings
- Ensure all work meets company standards, safety codes, and local regulations
- Use company-provided tablet and mobile phone for dispatching, job notes, and communication
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site
- Pick up materials from the warehouse when needed (optional early start at 7:30 AM)
Requirements
- 3+ years of HVAC experience (installation and service required)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with furnaces, central A/C systems, and water heaters
- Ability to work independently and manage job sites effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using tablets and mobile devices for job tracking
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
