Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of our guest spaces and common areas. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas using industry-standard cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care to ensure a pristine appearance
- Assist with furniture arrangement, replenishing supplies, and setting up event spaces as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly
- Support housekeeping management by coordinating with team members to ensure timely room turnover and cleanliness standards are met
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking amenities, and deep cleaning tasks during scheduled intervals
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely and maintained properly for optimal use
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services with a focus on hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning equipment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
