American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 1+ year of NICU or PICU experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in a Level I trauma center and regional children's hospital in Savannah, GA.

NICU (Neonatal) Respiratory Therapy unit at a 612-bed Level I trauma center and regional children's hospital in Savannah, GA
-
Equipment includes Servo-U & Dräger VN500 ventilators, Fisher & Paykel Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, and heliox therapy

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts

13-week contract
-
Active RRT license and certification required (license required if applicable)
-
Minimum 2 years of overall clinical experience as an RRT, with at least 1 year of Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience
-
Must have active clinical experience in this specialty within the last 6 months

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (current AAP card, NRP Advanced 9th Edition)

AHA or ARC certifications accepted; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

Proficiency with Servo-U ventilator for independent admission and management of vented patients
-
Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation including BiPAP and CPAP, as well as Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Independently admit and manage ventilated patients in the Peds ICU using the Servo-U ventilator
-
Set up and manage heliox therapy through both invasive and non-invasive measures
-
Provide neonatal respiratory care including Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide therapy, and high-frequency ventilation

Hunter green scrubs required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
