Overview
Station House BBQ is a fast-growing, commissary-based BBQ + catering company in Tampa. We're hiring a Catering Coordinator to own our catering pipeline end to end — from first inquiry to a happy client and a clean post-event wrap. This is a pure operations role (no sales quota): your job is flawless execution and organization, not selling.
What you'll do
- Process and confirm catering orders and keep every detail accurate — guest counts, menus, dietary needs, addresses, times, and payment status.
- Keep orders in sync across our catering, invoicing, and kitchen systems so nothing slips through the cracks.
- Build delivery, setup, and staffing timelines; coordinate the kitchen and the crew.
- Be the client's point of contact through event day and follow up afterward.
- Help keep our retail/production schedule on track.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in catering/event coordination or hospitality operations; high-volume a plus.
- Ruthlessly organized and detail-obsessed — you track many orders and dates without dropping one.
- Excellent communicator by phone, email, and text; calm and warm under pressure.
- Comfortable with catering/CRM software, Square, and spreadsheets.
- Availability around events (some early mornings and weekends).
Compensation: $22-$26.50/hour ($45,000-$55,000/year equivalent), based on experience.
To apply, submit your resume and a short note on the most complex event or project you've coordinated.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
