Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced culinary leader to oversee daily kitchen operations in a structured, high-volume environment. This role is ideal for someone who values consistency, organization, and quality, and is committed to delivering well-balanced, thoughtfully prepared meals while leading a cohesive team.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service execution
· Lead and support kitchen staff through training, scheduling, and day-to-day supervision
· Plan and develop menus that are nutritious, appealing, and cost-effective
· Actively participate in kitchen operations while monitoring food and labor costs
· Ensure all meals meet high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency
· Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and dietary guidelines
· Accommodate a range of dietary needs and nutritional considerations with care and accuracy
· Build strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent quality and supply of ingredients
· Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment at all times
· Proactively solve problems and maintain smooth operations during high-demand periods
· Foster a professional, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture
· Uphold a strong “Do It Right” mentality in all aspects of the operation
Qualifications
· Proven experience in food service, high-volume dining, or institutional kitchen environments
· Strong knowledge of menu planning, food production, kitchen operations, and food safety standards
· Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
· Excellent communication and organizational abilities
· Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
· Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
