Full job description:
Join a fast growing company that imports and sells wholesale fresh-cut flowers to florists and event organizers. This is a position with great potential for growth.
Job is to receive, allocate and deliver our boxes to customers throughout the tristate area. This is mainly DURING THE NIGHT between 9pm and 5am. However, sometimes the hours can shift to daytime depending on truck schedules. We are offering around 40 hours a week but possibly up to 60 hours.
Right now this is a 1 man job but as the company grows we expect to add more staff. This is an opportunity to be a founding employee in the company with options for growth.
Duties:
- Receive shipments either in our warehouse location in Lakewood or in Jersey City.
- Scan the boxes into system.
- Break down the pallets of boxes and allocate based on customer label and pick tickets.
- Make sure all boxes are accounted for in each delivery pick ticket and report any missing or extra boxes.
- Deliver to customers in middle of the night (you will have night/lockbox access).
- Pickup shipments incoming to our NY brokers at JFK.
- Show the same care and dedication to each customer whether it’s for 1 box or 1000 boxes.
Requirements:
We would appreciate some phone numbers of references from prior jobs. You must be legal to work in USA and speak English. Spanish is a plus. Driver license with clean record is a must. Similar work experience is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 60 per week
