Join our dynamic team as an Accounting and Human Resources professional, where you will play a vital role in managing financial operations and supporting organizational personnel needs. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing payroll adjustments, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes growth and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining precise records.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis to support management decision-making; interpret financial data for clarity and strategic insight.
- Conduct cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial report writing to facilitate sound financial planning.
- Administer payroll adjustments using ADP software, manage tax experience related to payroll and benefits administration.
- Responsible for HR functions with onboarding, mentoring team members, maintaining personnel records, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Perform internal audits and assist with external audits to uphold financial integrity; support regulatory reporting requirements related to securities law and governmental accounting standards.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools—including Excel spreadsheets and word documents—to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Experience
- Proven accounting experience with expertise in corporate finance, financial management, or public accounting environments.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting concepts such as accrual accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, and journal entries.
- Hands-on experience with financial software (we use JOB Boss for our accounting and manufacturing software) Also Excel data analysis is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in financial statement preparation, interpretation of financial reports, and financial report writing.
- Ability to mentor colleagues effectively while managing multiple priorities within fast-paced settings.
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity for detailed account analysis, bank reconciliation, tax experience, and cash flow management.
We are currently looking to hire someone in October to do training through the end of the year.
Possible other responsibilities - Safety director and production control and scheduling.
