ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Interpret shipping documents to identify and count items.
- Sign and submit shipping documents such as packing slips and bills of lading to logistics leads, supervisors, and purchasing staff.
- Arrange parts on carts or pallets for transport to locations within and outside of manufacturing facility.
- Document transport of materials in manufacturing facility by checking off parts lists, entering parts information into database, and completing job time cards.
- Report damaged, defective, unidentified and obsolete parts to logistics supervisors and managers.
- Organize and clean warehouse, receiving, and shipping areas to facilitate the location, identification, and transport of items.
- Move parts to and from the Paint and Assembly Depts.
- Verify Quality Control signatures.
- Clean and remove empty carts / pallets from the Assembly Dept.
- Carefully relocate motors and cylinders to the Assembly Department.
- Operate machinery such as the overhead crane and forklift.
- Perform other functions as specified by Production Control management.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by sweeping, dusting, and mopping shelves, the pallet area, and workstations.
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Demonstrate a commitment to an Injury-Free Environment by actively participating in company safety programs.
- Comply with all aspects of the corporate environmental, health and safety program.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
- Logistics Lead
- Logistics Supervisor
- Production Control Manager
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Speak and write in the English language at a high school level or better.
- Perform basic math operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, internet browsers, and smartphones.
- Able to understand and complete job orders with moderate supervision.
- Safely operate a forklift and overhead crane to transport materials.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Learn logistics processes to solve problems and multitask with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Ability to follow 6S standards
- Working knowledge of Excel and email applications.
- Prior material handling experience in manufacturing or similar work environment.
TRAVEL:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Daily: Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, bending over, kneeling down, reaching above your head, extending your arms outward, pushing, pulling, gripping and fine motor skills.***Walking and Standing on cement flooring daily***

- Monday to Thursday
- 6:45 AM to 5:30 PM
- $19.00 to $21.00
