Mickey's is looking to hire Rate of pay is $15.00 per hour plus daily tips.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and experience working in fast-paced dining environments. This role involves providing attentive service in a diner setting, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable visit. Help keep the kitchen and dining areas neat, clean and visually pleasing for our customers. Strong focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service throughout their dining experience
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Handle payment transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Build positive guest relations through attentive service and personalized interactions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry
- Basic math skills for processing payments and making change accurately
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, host/serving a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, and holidays
