FLOURISH Fine Gardening seeks an Irrigation Auditor to help ensure our clients’ gardens remain healthy, vibrant, and beautifully maintained through thoughtful and effective irrigation management.
This role combines hands-on system auditing, irrigation programming, client communication, and coordination of repair work. The Irrigation Auditor works closely with our in-house Irrigation Repair Specialist and plays a key role in supporting overall garden health across our client properties.
In this role, you will:
- Audit residential irrigation systems to identify necessary repairs, inefficiencies, and coverage gaps
- Manage irrigation timer programming, including seasonal adjustments to run times and watering schedules
- Monitor overall irrigation performance to ensure plant health and garden vitality
- Communicate with clients verbally and in writing regarding recommended repairs, upgrades, and irrigation concerns
- Create estimates for irrigation improvements and repair work
- Coordinate and schedule work with outside irrigation specialists when appropriate
- Oversee and support the work of the in-house Irrigation Repair Specialist
- Identify signs of overwatering, underwatering, drainage issues, or plant stress
- Help develop proactive irrigation strategies that support the long-term success of each garden
Characteristics of a successful candidate include:

- Strong understanding of common landscape plants and their irrigation needs
- Ability to recognize when plants are not receiving appropriate irrigation
- Comfortable balancing big-picture thinking with careful attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and proactive
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with coworkers
Helpful experience and background:
- Experience working with residential irrigation systems is helpful but not required
- Familiarity with irrigation controllers and scheduling is a plus
- Background in horticulture, landscape maintenance, fine gardening, or related hands-on work is beneficial
- Experience communicating directly with clients in a service-oriented environment is valuable
