Balanced Body Wellness Centre is seeking a compassionate, skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to help build our growing therapeutic massage program within our established integrative healthcare practice.

About Our Practice
For more than 20 years, Balanced Body Wellness Centre has provided personalized, patient-centered care through Functional Medicine, Acupuncture, Therapeutic Massage, and other natural healthcare services.
We believe exceptional patient care comes from treating the whole person, not just isolated symptoms. Our providers work collaboratively to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life in a warm, professional environment.
One of our most exciting areas of growth is expanding therapeutic massage services through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care Network, along with other healthcare referral relationships. We are looking for a therapist who is excited to help us build a trusted therapeutic massage program serving veterans and our local community.

Responsibilities
- Provide individualized therapeutic massage treatments based on each patient’s needs and goals.
- Develop treatment plans that support pain relief, improved mobility, stress reduction, and recovery.
- Collaborate with our healthcare providers to support comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely SOAP documentation.
- Educate patients on self-care and wellness recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment room.
- Provide therapeutic massage services for patients referred through the VA Community Care Network as the program continues to grow.
- Deliver exceptional patient care that encourages long-term relationships and patient retention.
Helping Grow the Practice
We’re looking for someone who wants to be more than a massage therapist—we’re looking for someone who wants to help build an exceptional therapeutic massage program.
Our ideal therapist enjoys being involved in the growth of the practice by:
- Participating in community wellness events, health fairs, and educational workshops.
- Representing the practice at networking and community outreach events.
- Building relationships with prospective patients and referral partners.
- Collaborating with our providers to educate patients on the benefits of therapeutic massage.
- Contributing ideas that help strengthen and grow the massage department.
Qualifications
- Current Georgia Massage Therapy License.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate.
- Excellent clinical and customer service skills.
- Passion for helping patients improve their health and quality of life.
- Willingness to participate in occasional evening or weekend community events and practice marketing activities.
- Commitment to continued professional growth.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Deep Tissue Massage
- Myofascial Release
- Trigger Point Therapy
- Sports Massage
- Medical/Therapeutic Massage
- Prenatal Massage
- Manual Lymphatic Techniques
Compensation & Employment Structure
We recognize that every therapist brings different experience, goals, and preferences. Compensation and employment structure will be discussed during the interview process and tailored to the right candidate.
Various compensation models may be considered, including commission-based, hourly, Independent Contractor (1099), or part-time W-2 employment, depending on experience, qualifications, and the needs of both the therapist and the practice.
Our goal is to build a long-term relationship with the right therapist while continuing to expand our therapeutic massage program and referral network.
