Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Dosing Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for administering medications, liquid methadone and buprenorphine, in an outpatient opioid treatment program / medication treatment program setting
Duties
- Administer prescribed medications following physician orders and established protocols.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medication reconciliation to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with diverse needs
- Educate patients and their families about medication regimens, potential side effects, and safety precautions to promote understanding and compliance.
- Assist with clinical procedures such as specimen collection when necessary.
- Familiarity with Methasoft preferred.
- Submitting billing documents and familiar with ICD10 and etc.
Experience
- Valid LPN license with current state licensure required.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
