The St. James is seeking a Master Esthetician for its med spa, Courted, at its flagship location in Springfield, Virginia.
Our growing medical spa is seeking a master aesthetician licensed in Virginia. We are looking to hire one part-time position with the potential of transitioning to full-time as demand increases. The ideal candidate will be a team player, self-motivated, with excellent customer service skills.
Performs professional facial, body, and laser treatments within scope of practice and licensing.
Performs quality treatments based on member/guest’s individual needs.
Utilizes Courted at The St. James professional treatment protocols.
Promotes the consistency of health, wellness, and routine skincare benefits to upsell products, services and packages.
Adheres to policies set forth to ensure best practices and customers’ satisfaction.
Maintains client confidentiality in accordance to HIPPA regulations and service protocols.
Possesses leadership qualities and uphold a professional demeanor at all times.
Ensures an excellent member/guest experience by demonstrating a positive attitude.
Increases guest retention by building relationships.
Ensures completion of intake and consent forms.
Participates in promoting services throughout the facility and referral program.
Assists in the cleanliness of spa facility.
Performs administrative duties as needed.
Ensures proper intake/consent forms are distributed and completed.
Provides clear and concise education and pre/post-treatment instructions to guests.
Ensures inventory is stocked with appropriate supplies in treatment rooms.
Adheres to client confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA regulations and service protocols.
Ensures standards for infection control is are met in accordance with local, state, federal, OSHA guidelines.
Cleans and sterilizes equipment/instruments and disposes of contaminated supplies according to Courted Spa, CDC, OSHA, state and local guidelines.
Attends all staff meetings and promotional events.
Maintains continuing education requirements for master aesthetics recertification.
Attain general knowledge and understanding of all services and products to educate guests.
Provides services within the scope of practice of profession as defined by the state/city/ local law, and in accordance with applicable regional laws and regulations.
Utilizes Courted at The St. James professional treatment protocols.
Increases guest retention by exhibiting a positive attitude and building relationships.
Participates in promotional and marketing efforts throughout the facility.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Valid Master Aesthetician VA state license.
Participation in advanced training and continuing education requirements.
Follows state regulations: cleanliness and sanitation protocols.
Possess strong sales orientation.
Excellent customer service skills.
2+ years of experience in role.
Knowledge of ZO, iS Clinical and Skinceuticals skincare product lines.
