The Role: Line Cook, Prep Cook, Dishwasher
Seeking exceptional staff members for back of the house positions at Frita Batidos Dallas! The Back of House Team Member will be responsible for working with ingredients, preparing recipes, and preparing guest orders with care, cleaning your workspace throughout the day, and following health and safety guidelines. You will follow recipes consistently, accommodate guest requests, communicate constructively with fellow staff members and uphold utmost standards.

Day to Day:
These responsibilities highlight some of the key functions a BOH team member will perform. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
- Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
- Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH to address any needs that may arise
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
- Handle and store ingredients and food
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Monitor station inventory levels
- Accommodate guests’ special requests
- Safely operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
- Prepare food with care and proper technique
Requirements:
- 1 + years’ experience in a similar environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to taste all food being prepared
