About the Role
Odyssey Transport & Warehouse is expanding our local flatbed fleet. This position has the responsibility of transporting material from our warehouse to one local customers. We value our drivers as true professionals and give them the tools to thrive and the support they deserve.
- 5 to 6 Day Per Week Work Schedule
- Regular Weekend Work
- Peterbilt Trucks– modern, well-maintained equipment
- Local DEDICATED routes and Short miles
Job Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A with 2+ years of recent tractor-trailer experience
- 1 year of verifiable flatbed experience required
- Valid Medical Card
- Reliability and flexibility with work schedules
- Must have a safe driving history and professional attitude with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 36 months.
- No more than 2 accidents in the last 36 months
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver steel blanks and materials to customer locations
- Secure loads using straps/chains in compliance with DOT and company standards
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain equipment safety
- Track HOS logs via Samsara and ensure FMCSA compliance
- Communicate with dispatch/customers and verify shipping documents
