Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Pump Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining concrete pumping equipment - specifically PUTZMEISTER - to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, supporting large-scale construction projects with reliable equipment service.
Duties
- Perform detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on concrete pump trucks.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and mechanical repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, brakes, and air brake systems.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and comply with industry regulations by following schematics and technical manuals precisely.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, parts used, repairs performed, and inspections completed to support ongoing operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with CONCRETE PUMPING needed.
- Dealership experience or OEM certification is highly desirable for understanding manufacturer-specific systems.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, diesel engine repair, transmissions, brake systems, and suspension components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on automotive diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
