We are seeking an experienced Commercial / Multi-Family Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring successful execution of commercial and multi-family electrical projects while maintaining quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial and multi-family electrical projects from kickoff through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, field crews, vendors, and internal teams
- Review contracts, plans, specifications, and project requirements
- Procure materials and manage equipment needs to maintain project schedules
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates
- Monitor labor productivity, job costs, and project profitability
- Process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and purchase orders
- Support field supervisors and assist in resolving jobsite challenges
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
- Track billing, job costing, forecasting, and project closeout documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and project stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of project management experience in commercial and/or multi-family electrical construction preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and project lifecycle
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with project management and construction software preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Electrical field experience or electrical estimating experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
