Warehouse Operations & Customer Service Associate
Woburn, MA — In-Person, Daytime Shift (Monday–Friday)
About Us:
ACS (Airport Courier Service) is an on-demand, expedited courier company handling critical, time-sensitive shipments — including medical equipment and spare parts — for business clients across New England, 24/7/365. We're known for our reliability and high-touch, customized service, where no two customers' requirements are exactly alike.
We're a growing company, and this is a role with real room to grow alongside us.
The Role:
This is a hands-on, in-person position at our Woburn warehouse that blends full-cycle warehouse work with strong customer service and communication. You'll own the complete lifecycle of every item in our warehouse — from receiving and inbounding, to tracking it while it's on-site, to preparing it for outbound delivery — and you'll make sure every driver fully understands the specific handling instructions for their run before a shipment leaves the building. Because everything we do is customized to each customer, this role demands someone sharp, organized, and able to keep many different requirements straight at once.
You'll move comfortably between physical warehouse tasks and detailed, computer-based work, and you'll communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, teammates, and customers throughout.
We care more about who you are than your résumé. If you're a fast learner who takes pride in your work and fits our team, we'll teach you the rest — prior logistics experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday daytime role. Shift hours fall within a 7:00 AM–6:30 PM window (for example, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 10:00 AM–6:30 PM); your specific shift will be assigned by ACS.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the full lifecycle of warehouse inventory: receiving/inbounding, tracking items on-site, and processing outbound shipments
- Perform physical inventories and cycle counts for our critical spare parts customers, maintaining a high standard of accuracy
- Execute warehouse projects including sort-and-seg work and freight reworks
- Prepare temperature-controlled shipments, including packing with dry ice and configuring temperature loggers
- Review customized handling and delivery instructions with drivers before each shipment leaves the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and accountability
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records using our systems
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members, both verbally and in writing
- Track and stay on top of varied, customer-specific requirements across many active shipments
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and running smoothly
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, customer-facing demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Solid computer proficiency — comfortable with data entry, records and inventory systems, and learning new software quickly
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple, differing requirements without losing track
- Comfort with detailed, process-driven work such as cycle counts, freight reworks, and specialized shipment prep
- Ability to handle the physical demands of warehouse work (lifting, standing, moving shipments throughout your shift)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation to our Woburn facility
Nice to Have:
- Forklift experience
- Experience handling temperature-controlled or hazmat shipments (e.g., dry ice)
- Background in logistics, courier, or warehouse operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
