Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and efficient Bartender to join our high-volume Italian restaurant. This role requires expertise in bar management, craft cocktail creation, and inventory control, with a strong ability to perform under pressure. The ideal candidate delivers fast, consistent service while maintaining high-quality standards and enhancing the guest dining experience through beverage knowledge and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve beverages quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment, including classic cocktails, Italian aperitifs, wine, and beer

Develop and maintain a curated cocktail menu featuring Italian-inspired and seasonal offerings

Demonstrate strong knowledge of Italian wines, amari, aperitivi, and digestivi; provide pairing recommendations to complement menu items

Manage bar inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, tracking usage, and minimizing waste

Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards

Maintain consistency in drink quality and presentation during peak service hours

Train and support bar staff on recipes, service standards, and efficient workflow

Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to align beverage offerings with seasonal menus and specials

Monitor beverage costs and contribute to profitability through effective inventory and portion control

Requirements:
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant environment

Strong knowledge of Italian wines, spirits, and traditional cocktails (e.g., Negroni, Aperol Spritz, Espresso Martini)

Experience with cocktail menu development and bar program execution

Solid understanding of inventory management and cost control practices

Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications

Certification in bartending or hospitality management
