Duties
- Greet prospective tenants warmly and provide detailed tours of available units, highlighting key features and amenities.
- Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring all steps are clear and efficient.
- Conduct thorough tenant screenings, including background checks and credit assessments, in accordance with Fair Housing laws.
- Negotiate lease terms and rental rates to reach mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining company standards.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants through online listings, social media, and community outreach.
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, applications, and correspondence using property management software.
- Stay informed about local real estate laws, regulations, and fair housing policies to ensure full compliance at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or real estate sales with a strong background in leasing activities.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader community base.
- Demonstrated customer service expertise with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with marketing techniques specific to real estate or property leasing.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, real estate law, and property management best practices.
