As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees while overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources department. You will play a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance, managing employee relations, administering benefits and leave programs, and supporting strategic business initiatives.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who combines strong technical expertise with a genuine passion for people and organizational excellence.

Partner with organizational leaders to support business objectives and workforce initiatives

Drive programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture

Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and overall efficiency

Provide recommendations and insights through HR metrics and reporting

Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters

Conduct workplace investigations and facilitate conflict resolution

Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee concerns and disciplinary actions

Promote a respectful, inclusive, and positive work environment

Oversee administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and ancillary benefits

Lead annual open enrollment processes

Act as the primary liaison between employees, brokers, and benefit vendors

Assist employees with benefit-related questions and issue resolution

Manage leave programs including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and applicable state and federal leave programs

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content

Monitor regulatory changes and implement policy updates as needed

Maintain accurate employee records and confidential documentation

Support managers with performance management and employee development initiatives

Provide coaching, guidance, and best practices related to employee performance

Mentor and support HR team members while encouraging professional growth

Help build leadership capability throughout the organization

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources experience

Minimum of two (2) years of employee relations experience

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws

Experience administering employee benefit programs and leave management

Demonstrated workplace investigation and conflict-resolution experience

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Previous supervisory or leadership experience

Experience in healthcare, home care, or another highly regulated environment

Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
