Overview:
The Hardware Kitting Trainee role is responsible for preparing and organizing hardware kits for production. This role emphasizes accuracy and efficiency while continuously improving processes using 2 Second Lean practices.
Key Responsibilities: (include but not limited to): Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:
- Organize and prepare hardware kits for production.
- Ensure accurate counts and verify materials.
- Implement 2 Second Lean improvements to streamline the kitting process.
- Adhere to safety and quality protocols.
- Teamwork – work closely with coworkers to resolve problems
- Other duties may be assigned by leadership.
Qualifications: Minimum Preferred Qualifications, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:
- 0-1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of hardware components.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Essential physical requirements pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:
- Trunk Strength- The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing.
- Extent Flexibility- The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
- Stamina- The ability to exert yourself physically over long periods of time without getting winded or out of breath.
- Perceptual Speed- The ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns. The things to be compared may be presented at the same time or one after the other. This ability also includes comparing a presented object with a remembered object.
- Manual Dexterity- The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Near Vision- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
- Visualization- The ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or
- Ability to continuously lift 50+ lbs in an 8 hour shift and higher with assistance.
- Written Comprehension- The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
- Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
