We are seeking a Signage Installation Coordinator to join our growing team. This person will work closely with the Installation Manager. The primary function in this role is to be responsible for coordinating with subcontractors/installers across the country to meet installation deadlines and provide troubleshooting on mounting techniques and other install questions that arise. This role is directly involved in the manufacturing of products and is a link between various internal departments and the client regarding production scheduling.
Daily activities typically include customer and sub-contractor contact, scheduling, data/order entry, and production tracking through delivery and installation.

Essential functions of the Signage Install Coordinator
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Represent the customer’s best interest to help develop and maintain customer loyalty for repeat business.
- Oversee multiple individual but related design/décor installation projects within various client programs.
- Assist communications between Sales, Design, Production and Install.
- Maintain install status reports for internal and external use.
- Help subcontracted installers to complete the installation of projects on time, to cost, to specifications, and to client’s quality expectations.
- Assist Installation manager as needed during install phase (ex. Prepare job orders, review site photos of problems, work out problems w/ installers via phone calls such as mounting techniques, etc.
- Process changes in scope, schedule and fee to ensure project success.
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships throughout the company (both studio and production).
- Coordinate field survey for critical demands.
- Communicate directly with clients, architects, and contractors as required, as a project evolves.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Managing vendor or client installations. Understanding architectural site coordination for décor needs.
- Excellent client verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a solid understanding of job workflow.
- Ability to project manage and be detailed-oriented.
- Ability to demonstrate a high-level of organization with time management, communications, decision-making and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with outside vendors and manage multiple install projects simultaneously.
- Ability to demonstrate prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Practical knowledge of retail design and architecture.
- Practical experience in construction.
- Experience and knowledge of safe mounting techniques of decor & signage of varying shapes, sizes and weights (Required)
- Experience with suspended mounting techniques (i.e., from ceiling) to safely hang/install heaving signage from the ceiling. (Required).
- Practical knowledge of logistics.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
- Proficient PC skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., understanding how to create and modify formulas in Excel).
- A compelling interest in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
- Basic graphics & signage material knowledge preferred.
- Familiarity with precision metal fabrication, extrusions, composites, woodworking, and acrylics. Preferred.
- Knowledge of décor and millwork manufacturing and fabrication techniques, tools and materials preferred.
Site Visits
- Field survey existing space, gather reference photos, critical dimensions, etc.
- Possible site visits on local projects during construction to address problem issues as they arise.
- Evaluation of space after Décor is installed, including final walkthrough for punch list items, finish photos, etc.

Working conditions
This position requires some evening and weekend hours and availability to field calls/questions and problem solve installation techniques, etc.
Safety glasses must be worn at all times when working with team members on the shop floor or at site visits.
