JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an HR Payroll & Administrator to join our growing organization. This is an on-site position where your experience will include recording and processing payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing. A keen attention to detail and organization is a must.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Process weekly payroll for 150 employees in multiple states.
- Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data.
- Update payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions.
- Prepare reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages.
- Calculating payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes, including federal and state income and social security tax, and calculating employer’s payments for social security, unemployment and worker’s compensation.
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries.
- Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures.
- Process and issuing W-2 forms to employees.
- Manage the time & attendance report.
- Manage 401K reporting.
- Manage Health Benefit structures.
- Manage all onboarding processes.
- Manage safety audit reporting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus.
- 2+ years multi-state payroll experience.
- Strong MS Office skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize in deadline-driven environment.
- Must be able to pass a 7-year national background check on candidate.
COMPENSATION
Pay range: $33-35hr.
Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Mon.- Fri.
