We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a hybrid home/office position responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring our day-to-day accounting operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks Online and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks Online
- Record daily financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Prepare financial reports as needed
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
- Support the accounting team with special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Familiarity with payroll processing
- Previous experience in public accounting
- Certified Bookkeeper designation
