Tri-Angle Metal Fab is a leading ISO 9001/AS9100 certified manufacturer in Milton, VT and we are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector. Tri-Angle is a CNC Machine and Fabrication shop that manufactures a variety of complex and precision components for the defense, aerospace, and commercial industries.
Job Description:
A Quality Control Inspector independently performs inspections on machined parts, raw materials, and parts received from subcontracted suppliers. They will be supporting the production environment by performing in-process production inspections, first article inspections, receiving inspections, and final inspections to ensure conformance to requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
· First piece, In-process and Final dimensional inspection of precision machined & fabricated components.
· Inspect incoming parts from Outside Process (i.e. plating, painting, chemical process, and other sub-contract services)
· Performs other duties as required by Quality Control Manager.
· This job is for 40 hours weekly.
· Normal shift is Mon-Fri., 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Skills Required:
· Must have strong blueprint reading ability.
· Thorough knowledge of Shop Math and GD&T.
· You must be experienced using all standard measuring equipment such as Micro Height gage, dial calipers, micrometers, pin gages, etc.
· Proficient with surface plate inspection.
· Experience in a machine shop environment.
· Associate degree “preferred” or equivalent experience. High School or Trade School education and a minimum of four (4) years mechanical inspection or related machine shop experience.
· Be very detail oriented and organized.
· Must have the ability to follow procedures, maintain detailed and accurate records.
· Basic Computer skills
