Essential Job Functions
- Assess clients’ needs, medical history, and physical condition before service
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client goals and contraindications
- Experienced in multiple modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone massage, body scrubs, and body wraps.
- Maintain proper body mechanics and physical stamina during sessions
- Monitor client comfort, pain levels, and response throughout treatment
- Communicate professionally with clients about treatment goals, expectations, and aftercare
- Maintain accurate client records, session notes, and treatment documentation
- Sanitize massage rooms, linens, tables, and equipment according to health regulations
- Adhere to state licensing laws, ethical standards, and client confidentiality requirements
- Recognize conditions that require referral to medical professionals
- Schedule appointments and manage time effectively
- Promote client wellness through education on stretching, hydration, posture, and self-care
- Maintain a safe, calm, and professional therapeutic environment
- Work collaboratively with the spa staff when applicable
Physical/Mental Requirements:
