Job Description
An established industrial processing company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production machinery and facility equipment. This hands-on position combines electrical and mechanical maintenance, including troubleshooting 480V three-phase systems, PLCs, VFDs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other industrial equipment. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment issues, and support equipment installations and facility upgrades in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain 480V three-phase motor control systems, PLCs, VFDs, transformers, wiring, and other electrical components.
- Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment issues to repair or replace defective components.
- Install conduit, pull and terminate wiring, and read wiring diagrams and other electrical documentation.
- Install and maintain machinery, conveyors, and equipment while using appropriate hand tools, power tools, material-handling equipment, and rigging methods.
- Respond safely and efficiently to mechanical and electrical trouble calls, including emergency or unscheduled production-equipment repairs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or technical degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Intermediate advanced welding skills and electro-mechanical knowledge, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with rigging and installing equipment and conveyors; ability to operate a forklift, skid steer, and scissor lift.
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment, including ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes; ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and perform the essential physical functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

The base pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
