Title: Insurance - Commercial Lines Account Executive, Team Leader
Location: Northeast; 100% remote
Salary: $175,000k - $200,000k (dependent upon experience) + bonus and excellent benefits package
Our client, a Top 30 Property & Casualty Insurance Broker is a seeking an experience Sr. Commercial Lines Account Executive – Team Leader to join their growing team. Our client is based in the Northeast, however this role is 100% REMOTE (with occasional travel to Northeast). This position is open due to growth and the ideal individual will have experience managing a $2M revenue book of business with accounts over $50k in revenue, managing the pre & post renewal cycle, and overseeing a team of roughly 5 Account Executives.

Responsibilities:
- Manage 5-8 large, complex Commercial Lines insurance accounts as the day-to-day client contact.
- Manage, train, mentor junior account managers.
- Performs, coordinates and maintains a high level of client service satisfaction and retention on large, complex accounts
- Serves as an insurance advocate and service “point person” for all client service requests.
- Handles all aspects of complex account management including marketing and coordination with Claims and Loss Control resources.
- Activities include new and renewal marketing, fielding questions and requests and coverage review.
- Handling all aspects of the account life cycle; pre-renewal, renewal, post renewal, and stewardship meetings.
- Actively monitors the quality of subordinate’s work to ensure consistency, timeliness and adherence to company standards.
- Provide insurance technical expertise to clients and members of the Account Management and Sales Executive team.
- Responsible for marketing and placement of client Commercial Lines insurance renewals.
- Prepares and leads strategy meetings and Client Renewal meetings and presentations.
- Conducts loss analyses and creates loss summaries to share with clients and underwriters.
- Make insurance program recommendations to clients.
- Manage client renewal expirations and avoid any lapse in coverage.
- Complex negotiation with carriers on behalf of clients.
- Champion client cross-selling initiatives and develop customer accounts.
- Delegate administrative client tasks to assigned Account Representatives.
- Respond to underwriters’ questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems.
Qualifications:
- MUST have an active Property & Casualty license (REQUIRED).
- Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred).
- At least 10+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
