Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Key Holding Budtender to join our vibrant retail team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for store security and operational management during your assigned shifts. Your expertise in retail sales, inventory control, and customer service will ensure a seamless shopping experience while maintaining the safety and security of the premises. As a key holder, you will also oversee daily store operations, lead team members, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and compliance within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, POS transactions, and security protocols
- Supervise store operations during your shift, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
- Lead and motivate retail team members through effective training, development, and performance coaching
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and participate in interviewing prospective staff to build a strong team
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll records, and store financial reports in compliance with organizational standards
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, utilizing excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, including store cleanliness, stock organization, and security measures
- Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to enhance sales growth
- Monitor retail math metrics such as sales targets, inventory turnover, and shrinkage control to optimize store performance
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role
- Extensive retail sales background with demonstrated success in team management and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control software, and retail math principles
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Previous experience in grocery stores or similar retail settings is advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on training & development, operational management, and team motivation
