We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high-quality food presentation.
- Supervise and train staff across all departments, including front-of-house and kitchen teams, to uphold service standards and food safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate food ordering to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS systems (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and financial transactions with accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards at all times.
- Develop staff schedules, manage shift coverage, and handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Implement training & development programs to foster team growth, improve performance, and promote a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with supervising responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, food handling, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Strong background in food service management, inventory control, budgeting, and hospitality management.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management, interviewing, staff training & development.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee restaurant operations including shift management, food production, catering services, bar operations, and banquet experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary experience across various cuisines is highly desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
