Forest Hill Towers is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in residential apartment buildings and be capable of handling a wide range of maintenance tasks while providing excellent customer service to our residents.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Participation in a rotating after-hours emergency on-call schedule is required.
Responsibilities
- Complete apartment turnovers, including repairs, painting, cleaning preparation, and unit readiness.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, drywall, doors, locks, appliances, lighting, and other building components.
- Paint apartments and common areas as needed.
- Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of maintenance areas and common spaces.
- Assist with other property maintenance projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment building is required.
- Must speak English fluently and communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Experience with apartment turnovers is required.
- Knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and basic carpentry.
- Ability to diagnose and complete maintenance repairs independently.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work including climbing stairs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
