Highland Sqaure is seeking a Licensed Social Worker or Social Services Designee for a long term care facility.
The Social Worker is responsible for acting as a liaison and representative of the residents’ social interests and to assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and assisting in directing the overall operation of the Social Services Department.
At The Highland Square, you will see that we have a lot of resources to help our director in many ways. Such as; discharge planning, mental health care, and help with those wtih dependency issues.
Qualifications of Social Service Assistant/Designee:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a human services field including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology is preferred but not mandatory
- Licensure or certification as a social worker in the state of OH is preferred but not mandatory
- At least one year of relevant experience
- Experience in Skilled Nursing preferred
- Excellent communication skills
